The Voice of God
The voice of God came to my directly
And I said,
“I’ll take this to heart”
So, in my mind I laid out a plan.
First step,
to be a holy man.
With determined confidence in all my convictions
I gave it all I had.
After, I came to my wit’s end
I heard God speak again
Not to my ears, He spoke to my heart.
“Through my circumstances”
Where do you think you’re going, He ask,
It should be Me who’s doing the leading.
If you could see where you would end up
You would turn around this moment.
For the plan I have for you
Is in the opposite direction!
