My Deepest Desire
As the darkness of night gives way to the dawn
Help me Holy Spirit Give my will to You.
For my deepest desire
My hope come true
Is that I can spend time with You.
You continually call me
Although, I don’t always come
I’m so very glad when I do.
For the things I so deeply dread
Despair like the fog in the sun.
And the darkness of my life
Gives way to the light
Of Jesus Christ, God’s only Son.
