Q. Do I have to purchase prints and supplies from Keepsake Names®?

A. No. You are the Independent Sales Consultant and have the choice to purchase from us, other sources, or to create your own. If you purchase the large package we will supply you with a display sample of our Keepsake Names exclusive prints and 100 sheets of the paper we use, that’s a $20.00 value. We are confident that when you see the quality of our material combined with the low cost and high selling price, plus the low volume you are required to purchase, that you will make the decision to purchase from us.

Q. What can be deducted as business expenses?

A. If your purchase from us is 100% for business, then it is 100% deductible. You should also contact your Small Business Administration, The Internal Revenue Service, or other services. They will provide you with packets of information on how to get started right and set up your business. This will include all allowable tax deductions.

Q. Do I need a sponsor and what do I get if I refer someone?

A. No, you do not need a sponsor. From the beginning all income to us has been from direct sales. As we said earlier, we want to afford anyone the opportunity to promote Keepsake Names Prayer Names, so in an effort to keep EACH PERSONS COST LOW AND PROFIT HIGH we have not “built-in” profit from your sales for anyone but you.

Statement

We started with the 3 roses, parchment, and many cut-outs as pictured!  We soon began adding pictures until we reached what we are offering today.

We did continue with the cut-outs and offered them as “special priced items.”

As the business grew, we stopped the cut-outs only because of the time required.  We purchased the fabric from our local fabric store.  The only real problem we encountered was when a Mother-Grandmother would want the same cut-out for the NEW Grand baby and we found out that pattern was no longer available.  “Be polite and come up with “the best-selling cut-out at the present time.”

When presenting Keepsake Names, along with your award winning smile, you will need several samples to display with matting and frame.  This will help complete the “Finished Look” for the potential customer.

Your large 3 ring binders with the plastic inserts work great so people can view all options.  One for 8” x 10” pictures – one for 10” x 8” pictures – one for 5” x 7” pictures and one for parchment.

Note:  Remember that almost all of the parchment can be cut for the 5” x 7”.

Some pre-printed Prayer Names from all the options sizes will also help put the completed picture in the head of those who are looking – as already stated.  The addition of matting and frame will make a positive statement.

Dianne and I want to share with you what we have learned as we went along so you will not have to learn everything as you go.

One of the first things we did when we started going outside of our home was to purchase several thousand colorful bags for people to put their Prayer Names in.  That worked where everything was neat and tidy. However, when we did our 1st Fair, we replaced many Prayer Names that had been taken out to read or show someone ended up with about everything imaginable on the prints that a Fair would produce.

That’s when we invested in plastic bags and stiff backing.

Folding the bag to fit the print and backing and securing with a small strip of clear tape keeps everything clean and flat while allowing it to be handled without damage.

Another “must” to achieve top quality print is to have good quality paper.  We could buy the best paper offered by our local office supply store at $19.95 per 100 – one hundred sheets.  The end result well worth the results.

After meeting a local distributor, I started buying in bulk. Our 1 and 1/2 car garage was converted into what looked like a mail room filled full with mattes & pictures, boxes & other supplies. Our ability to purchase in bulk allows us to offer savings to you.
