Dear Lord

I want to say the things
I know you want to hear

I want to live my life each day
drawing others near to You.
I don’t always understand what they are feeling inside.
Sometimes
I don’t understand my own!
Many tears, many prayers, through the many years
and sometimes
I felt all alone.
I had always asked you to walk by side
But the greatest day of all
was the day I asked You
To make my heart your Home.

My prayer for them is one and the same.
Help them make their heart your home.
